1) How long does the lash extension last?

For some people it’s less time and for others it’s more, but average person can keep lash extension in and looking fly for 3-4 weeks. As mentioned, the lashes fall out as your natural lashes do so, as they think, you’ll need to get a refill every 2 weeks if you want to keep them looking good and healthy.

2) Why lashes extension is a long process? What is the process like?

  • It’s an intricate procedure – they literally attach each hair to your eye one by one.

  • So you go in and take a few moments to tell your lashes technician over what you want and what you expect then you lie down, close your eyes and the technician put the eye pads and tape beneath your eyes to protect the area then from there they will glue the lash extension on your natural lash individually.

3) What should I do before coming to my lash extension appointment?

  • No makeup around the eyes, remove only with oil free makeup removal.

  • Shower prior to your appointment to eliminate any unnecessary contact with water or steam within the first 24 hours will insure the glue bond between the extension and natural lashes has enough time to properly set.

  • Wear comfortable clothing cause you will lay down more than 60 mins depending on what set of lashes you are getting.

  • Remove your contact lenses cause your eyes will be closed during the application.

  • You are welcome to bring ear/headphones to listen to your music.

  • Set your mobile to ‘do not disturb mode’ just prior to your appointment, this is time to sit back and relax, singing cell phones will interrupt the treatment so enjoy ‘me’ time  and let your lashes transformation begin.

4) What shouldn’t I do before coming to my lash extension appointment?

  • No makeup – makeup products close to your eye will need to be removed prior to the lash application process. It will save time eliminate for the technician to apply your lashes instead of cleaning your makeup.

  • No applying face creams or sunblock to the eye area, the oils within many moisturizers and sunblock can prevent the lash glue from properly adhering to your natural lashes, dramatically reducing the longevity of your lash extensions.

  • No mascara – lashes must be fresh and clean in order to be properly prepped to receive eyelash extension.

  • No wearing large or dangly earrings – it can often get in the way while you are laying down getting your lashes done.

  • Do not curl your lashes on the day of your lash application – new need your lashes in the most natural and healthy state they can prior to your lash extension application.

5) Do eyelash extensions damage your natural lashes?

  • No they do not if they’re applied correctly and properly, they are safe and do not ruin the health of your natural lashes.

  • Please follow after care of the lash extension after your appointment.

6) Can I wear mascara?

No, but honestly you don’t need to. They look like they have mascara on them at all the times. If you do decide you can’t live without mascara, know that you will be needing a refill way sooner than others.

7) Can they get wet?

Yes, after 24 hours you can wet them if you want. In fact, you should get them wet to clean them so you don’t get build up and junk in them. You will also need to brush them daily to remove caught debris and untangle them – like long hair.

8) How long do refill take? Is it expensive?

  • Depending on the refill booking and how thick you want your lashes extension to be.

  • Yes or No, depends. You can buy a refill packages 5 or 10 refills to get 20% - 50% off.

9) What are these things to avoid while wearing lash extension?

  • Spending time in a super humid places, like a sauna, could loosen the glue bond more quickly

  • You could also avoid letting the water pelt you in the face during your shower.

  • You should also avoid sleeping on your face.

  • Mascara and heavy eyeliner that will be tough to remove.

  • Oil make up products and moisturiser

Brow Feather Stroke (Microblading)

1) What is Brow Feather Stroke?

Brow Feather Stroke, Embroidery, Feather – touch or Hair – like strokes or Microblading are the same technique which differs from standard eyebrow tattooing because each hairstroke is created by hand using a blade to mimic natural hairs in your brow by implanting pigmentation under your skin in which creates, enhances or reshapes the eyebrows appearance in terms of both colour and shape.

2) How long does the process take?

  • For the first Microblading session, the entire procedure should take about 2.5-3 hours.

  • During this session, the brow technician will shape and style the client’s brow for client approval. We then follow with pigment colour selection. Once the client is satisfied with the choices, we begin the procedure.

3) How long does Microblading eyebrows last?

Brow Feather Stroke, also known as Brow Microblading is considered semi-permanent, it typically lasts 1-3 years, depending on skin type and skincare routine.

4) Does eyebrow Microblading hurt?

It doesn’t hurt as such, it is more a sensation. The process itself is not painful thanks to the numbing ointment that is applied.

5) Does Microblading stop hair growth?

It does not seem to affect hair growth in anyway. Microblading can last through any type of activity. Once it’s done, you can literally wake up with perfect brows.

6) What should I do before coming to my Brow Feather Stroke appointment?

  • Avoid alcohol and aspirin/ibuprofen and any vitamins that may thin your blood for 72 hours.

  • Avoid tanning so we can assess your natural skin tone

  • No face scrubs or chemical peels at least two weeks prior

  • Feel free to come in with their bro makeup on so our technician can see your everyday look you prefer. Reference pictures of shapes and colours of brows are always welcomed. We will then look together to create the prefect brows.

7) What are the aftercare steps after Brow Feather appointment?

  • About 2 hours after microblading, you should run a wet cotton swab that has been dippen isterilized water over the area.

  • Avoid getting the area wet for up to 10 days, which includes keeping your face dry during a shower.

  • Apply healing balm at least twice daily, morning and night time.

  • Avoid saunas, swimming, and excessive sweating until the area is completely healed.

  • Keep your hair away from your brow line.

  • Don’t wear makeup for at least a week. This is because the pigment are still settling into the shallow cuts in your skin caused by blading.

  • Don’t pick at scabs, tug, or itch the eyebrow area.

  • Apply a sunscreen to the microbladed area may help prevents fading.

8) What do I expect during the healing process?

It takes approximately 7-14 days for the brows to heal over, and about 1 month for the colour to fully set in.

9) How often should I maintenance Brow Feather Stroke?

Maintenance of your microbladed eyebrows at least once a year. This touch-up will involve adding pigment to the outline of the brows that you have already.

10) Who can’t have microblading ?

People who are pregnant, prone to keloids, or have had an organ transplant or diabetes should avoid microblading altogether.
